Cover Letter

A cover letter is a brief letter that goes along with your CV or resume. Its purpose is to highlight the most important parts of your educational qualification and experience and convince the reader to look at your application. You need to:

state the scholarship/position you're interested in and how you found out about it
explain how your qualifications match the scholarship [or position] and how you can benefit the company
express why you're interested in the university program [or company] and how you would fit in
provide supporting examples for your skills
request an interview and provide your contact information for follow-up.
